Frankie The Genteel Shark
Frankie was never a shark like the other sharks were. He wanted more for himself. A more refined life, but alas! He was a shark and was expected to behave sharkish! He was very fast, had the sharpest teeth and was considered the best hunter when hunting really big prey.
Frankie however set about to change his liFe and become more gentile. He was ready to pay the price! So one day a massive fishing boat appeared and lowered a huge steel mesh wire net. This was his chance, Frankie thought! Time for action. Frankie swam away from the net, turning around he swam at full speed into the net, biting, twisting, thrashing and turning until he became completely entangled. Teeth chipped and broken badly.
Now the net was brought up with Frankie still fighting and biting until even the underlaying spare teeth got damaged which meant NO NEW TOOTH GROWTH! He was exhausted when they hoisted him up. Luckily there were two marine biologists and a also a tooth fairy aboard the ship.
Now no doubt someone will ask "a tooth fairy?" Well anybody with a brain will know big ships have cats on them! So a tooth collecting mouse would be in mortal danger. Thus the Tooth Collection Department issued a writ that ONLY fairies may attend tooth collection on board ship! (Is that "someone happy now? Your question answered?)
Frankie Was in a bad state and they wondered what to do. "I know" said the tooth fairy. She had a BIG BAG full of really big teeth! (Now that same someone will wonder where the fairy got all the big teeth from?) Anyone with a brain will know fairies have been collecting teeth since there were giants around and they kept a small supply just in case! Now to that certain someone, don't even ask in case of what! Just don't!!
So they quickly sedated Frankie and removed all his teeth! And NO, we dont know what they sedated him with etcetera and so forth! We are not dentists you silly person! Between them they fashioned a set of dentures and fixed it to his upper and lower jaw. And NO, we dont know what they used, maybe extra strong super glue! We dont know and they wont say, OK!
Frankie was soon released but now what was he to eat? He had always dreamt of foie gras (duck liver pate), tinned smoked oysters, caviar and the list went on! As many of the underwater denizens knew about Frankie's secret yearning they then decided to help. They approached Neptune and a solution was found in the form of tasty snacks delivered by the Seven Seas Bubble Delivery service who had contacts all over the worlds watery deeps.
Everybody was happy. The sea life was safer and Frankie now could live the life he always dreamt about.

The adventures of Gizmo and Birdy
It was a warm sunny day and Gizmo was laying asleep stretched out on a rock basking in the sun. He was dreaming about flying again! He was soaring high up in the sky looking down on forest and river and rock and the tiny tiny animals on the ground. His legs and his tail was twitching wildly as he banked in the air catching the drafts.
"Wake up! Wake up" someone was yelling out loudly. "stop dreaming, you are not a bird, you are a lizard! Not a bird! Opening one eye he spotted Bizz his lizard friend glaring at him, from above. Its going to rain so come!
Gizmo slips of the rock and runs after Bizz to their little den. That night a terrible storm raged. The next morning Gizmo crept out to see what he could find for breakfast. There were leaves and small twigs and even some bigger branches everywhere!
There was a feast to be had for sure! Then a strange sound filtered through a pile of leafs. Gizmo stopped digging and listened, where was that sound coming from
he wondered. Cautiously he crept closer to the spot the noise was coming from. "Cheep cheep" he heard and he started poking his nose into the wet pile of leave
until all of a sudden his nose hit something soft and cold, something that felt very much alive! He jerked back in fright but decided to carry on investigating
the pile. pulling leafs away he was astounded to find a tiny little bird barely alive! He ran around the little bird to see if it was hurt. She was only cold but
slowly warming up in the sun. Gizmo turned around and ran as fast as could to the den calling out for Bizzy to come help. The two of them then went running back to
the mound of leafs. Between the two of them they dragged the little bird onto a big leaf and pulled her towards their warm sheltered little den. The den had a nice
sunny spot and they put the little bird there. "Oh oh oh, what to do what to do now" Gizmo wailed.
, food! it was the only thing he could think of. He then sent Bizz of to go find small soft worms to feed the little bird with. Once the little bird was fed and
asleep, they went outside to scout around to find out where she came from or if someone was looking for her. The forest was quiet, no one calling out for a lost baby
Over the next few weeks Gizmo and Biz were kept busy feeding and looking after Birdy who grew rapidly. Soon her little light grey feather appeared and she turned
into a rather beautiful bird. Gizmo now spent time watching the other birds to see what kind Birdy was. Ah one day he realized that she was a dove!
First flight!
Birdy was flapping her wings like crazy one day and Gizmo realized that it was time to teach Birdy how to fly! The problem was how? Now while all this was
going on, Mr Fieldmouse was watching. Mr Fieldmouse was a very clever mouse and very handy. He told them to get Birdy to climb as high up as she could and flap her
wings crazily till she had a little lift of! Soon Birdy starting taking short flights until one day she soared up and flew freely..
This event was the start of something new! Birdy knew of Gizmos dream to fly and she started hatching a plan to make it become a reality. Mr Fieldmouse was the
perfect accomplice! He set of to design a special harness made of tough lightweight grass and some very thin string he had found in the forest. Birdy first had to
get used to the harness and with every flight she took Mr Fieldmouse would stuff grass into the harness untill it weighed as much as he thought Gizmo would weigh.
Biz, although sceptical, had the job of keeping Gizmo busy while all the secret plans were undertaken. Finally that day arrived and Mr Fieldmouse said one word only
"Go". Gizmo, as usual was on the rock watching the birds flying. Terribly excited Bizzy ran as fast as he could callin out "Giz giz come quickly". Once again Gizmo
was lying in the sun staring longingly up into the sky, watching the birds diving and swooping, twisting and turning. "oh to be a bird" he sighed heavily.
Upon hearing Bizzy calling he groaned "what now!
He ran quickly after bizzy and much surprised he found Mr Fieldmouse and Bizzy standing grinning next to Birdy. She was wearing a strange grassy contraption on her back!
what on earth is going on Gizmo asked. "Surprise, today is your first flying lesson" they yelled out. Gizmo almost fainted, he also almost lost his tail! Fly!
He was besides himself with excitement. Between Mr fieldmouse and Bizzy they got Gizmo into the harness safely strapped down. Birdy now took a run, wings flapping crazily and then took of into the sky.
Gizmo was in heaven, he was flying! it was everything he expected as he looked down on the trees below. soon however his eyes were watering fiercely and he was numb
with coldness. He could hardly talk but managed to wheeze out "down down". Birdy realized there was a problem and quickly landed in a sunny spot. There they undid the
harness and poor Gizmo flopped to the ground hardly moving. Mr fieldmouse realized that they would have to find a flying outfit for Gizmo. Very soon fieldmice took
to the town nearby in search for homes with children and small toy figures. Some toy figures had little hats, scarves and even goggles. All were gathered and taken back to the forest.
Gizmo had his first taste of flying and was looking forward to his next flying session. Soon they managed sort through the pile of hats, scarves and goggles and put
together a perfect flight outfit that any flying lizard would be proud to wear. Now Gizmo and Birdy were set to go again! Whereto now however was the question!

Milo's Magic Bandanna
Milo was one of a few 100 tiny little nymphs that hatched from the mantis egg sack. The egg sac was sitting glued to a thin twig on a bush partially hidden by a few leaves to protect it. Little Milo was the last to leave and he was terrified. There were strange creatures about eating some of the others and Milo had no idea what they were! There were big ones and smaller ones that pecked and gobbled and the little nymphs had to run for their lives and hide wherever they could. Little Milo refused to budge and closed his little eyes.
Eventually it became quiet and Milo opened his little eyes and looked around. There was no one in sight at all! "Oh no, oh no" Milo thought and promptly burst out into tears! He felt a gentle touch and heard a raspy voice saying "There, there, they are all gone". Milo froze and kept his eyes tightly closed! He didn't want to see what was going eat him! Oh no no no! Not today or ever and hoped it would be quick!
"Oh dear but you are a frightfully not so brave little nymph" the voice said. "open your eyes please". Milo first opened the one eye and then the other and jerked back in fright! Standing in front of him was very tall creature the color of the leaves that hung on the branch. Milo has never seen a mature Prey Mantis before and was totally in awe! "Who.. who are you" Milo whispered. "Woowoowoo, he sounds like an owl!" another voice piped up. "You found another one, sensei Mantra. Milo along with other little nymphs were all herded to a big well used shelter. "This will be your new home and this is where your will live and learn and train to become part of the Mantra warriors!
"What are warriors!" the nymphs wanted to know. Sensei explains that the warriors are responsible for the defense of the mantis town. Poor Milo fainted straight away upon hearing the words. He woke up later lying on a leaf. Next to him was lying a few bits of tiny insects. They thought he had fainted from hunger! Milo was now in a flat spin. He was terrified while all the other nymphs could hardly contain their excitement!
Soon training exercises started and Milo stayed out of sight as much as possible. He became an expert at ducking and diving anything that came his way! Sensei Mantra didn't know how to help Milo gain courage until one day one praying mantis, in a joke said that they needed a magic cure for Milo. That night Sensei had a long hard think and the next morning he had a plan.
He took a white silk bandanna and hid it in a place he knew Milo like to hide away from the others when things became to much. A few days later, while sitting quietly in his little spot, Milo caught a fleeting glimpse of something white hanging on a twig. He decided to leave it hanging as it wasn't his!
It was time to go but as Milo turned around he heard a faint call for help. Carefully he looked around and saw a big ant trapped under a heavy twig. Milo sat staring at the ant, then decided to step up and lift the one end of the twig just enough to allow the ant to escape! The ant had two nasty looking pinchers so Milo wasn't planning on staying and ran as fast as he could back to the den. Milo only returned to his secret den 3 days later. The white bandanna was still there but this time it had a short turquoise stripe on it. How odd Milo thought and promptly forgot about it! Once again Milo stayed quietly in his den until later that afternoon. Halfway home his attention was caught by a fluttering movement in among small twigs. It was a brightly colored butterfly trying to free its trapped wing but couldn't. Cautiously and very carefully Milo pulled the little twigs apart. The little butterfly could barely move her little wing. Milo felt a surge of Pity. He realized he couldn't leave her there so he carried her back to his little den. He sat guard until morning came and the little butterfly could leave.
Milo got home to find that nobody even knew he was gone! He felt very alone and after breakfast he once again left for his secret den. He was surprised to find the silk bandanna hanging from a branch close to his den door. It now had a black and pink colored stripe! Odder and odder thought Milo! Not having slept well the night before Milo took a nap. He was woken by the the frantic flapping of wings. A bird! The thought of a bird so close to his den terrified Milo! He carefully peered out and saw a small bird struggling to free its one foot. It had a thin string that was attached to a cork around it. The little bird was clearly distressed and very tired! As terrified as he was Milo couldn't bear seeing the little bird struggle like that. It took every ounce of courage he could muster to walk up to the little bird. In a voice he was hoping sounded fierce he warned the bird not to eat him if he undid the string. As soon as the string was undone Milo turned tail and fled back to the den. He ran straight to his little room and collapsed shaking on his leaf. Milo fell asleep and when he woke up found that somebody had left him a few tasty bug morsels to eat! He hid a few and went back to sleep.
The next morning he woke to discover that not only was his bug stash gone but that his doorway was blocked by a pile of twigs and leaves! He could hear a lot of laughter on the other side. For the first time in his life Milo got angry! Forcing his way through the pile he ran straight to his secret den. How dare they treat him like this! Hungry and in a bad bad mood Milo sat staring at the spot where the silk bandanna was gently swaying in the breeze! Once again it had another color, bright orange this time! "Oh whoop tee do" growled Milo.
It was time to return home. He was hungry and his mood was grim when he trundled up the pathway. Once again he found his way blocked! This time however not by leaves and twigs but by 3 familiar looking creatures. The ant and bird were having a tug of war with the butterfly in the middle! "I'm eating her" "No I'm eating her". Milo recognized them all and flew into a rage! After all he went through helping them? Oh no no no no! He grabbed the nearest sturdy stick and stormed at them, smacking the ant hard across its back and then smacking the bird on its foot! Both let go of Butterfly and ran away! Once again Milo had to carry poor Butterfly back to his secret den and made her comfortable. He then went out to see if all was safe!
There a big surprise awaited him in the form of Sensei Mantra and Sensei Masa! Sensei Manta was holding the white silk bandanna with two new colors on it! Red and black! This is your bandanna from now Milo! Behind them on the ground stood a basket full of juicy crunchy bugs which interested Milo far more than the bandanna! "Eat up, while we explain" said Sensei. "Each one of these colors represent something! Turquoise showed your empathy with ant even though you were scared. The pink and black showed your compassion and urge to protect a weaker creature. In confronting and helping bird you showed great courage and for that you were awarded Orange". Milo sat in shocked silence, a partially eaten beetle hanging from his mandibles. "Your unexpected anger at Butterfly's mistreatment filled you with energy, passion, strength and the courage you needed to defend her without considering your own safety. You may not be a warrior but you you are certainly brave, we are proud of you.
The beetle dropped to the ground. Closing his eyes, Milo smacked himself in the face "wake up, wake up Milo, this is just a dream". He opened his eyes but they were all still there! Sensei stepped forward and tied the multi colored bandanna around Milo"s head saying "This is a valor bandanna Milo, wear it well!". Just then the ant, butterfly and bird appeared and behind them all the little mantra warriors. They were clapping and cheering for Milo who stood looking on in disbelief. Then he started laughing wildly yelling "I have a bandanna". With this Milo became part of the Mantra family. He was to help and teach other little nymphs how to become courageous. He was not a warrior but a gentle little teacher!

EXPRESSIONS
You view me through bars in a Zoo, you view me on screen,
you fear me for my size, desire my flesh,
my head, feet and hands, trophies to touch and display.
I'm gentle, I am kind, I pose not real threat but you
destroy my home, free of guilt or regret!
So take a good look at how I look, my moods all reflected, my
expressions and intentions quite clear, to show how I feel.
Peaceful at ease, a friendly smile smile where I show you my teeth,
only for you to beat a hasty retreat.
My "Oh well, you can't beat them all" face! Now let me add my real scary face!
With folded arms arms I wonder and ponder, with hand over my mouth in case
my laughter escapes!
Well sod you all, see if I care! Now see my face, I pity you all!
I'm a marvelous creation, I stand proud and tall!
So little humans, smile at each other with mouths full of tiny blunt teeth,
soon I'll be gone for once and all. Pick up your wallets and run to your malls!
There you will find me, a hairy stuffed toy sitting on a shelf, back to the wall!
So nice and furry, so soft to hold! With a far off look in your eye you pick me
up and smile a sad smile!
"What's that you are holding?" your child want to know. "Oh this is a gorilla" you say!
They'll soon be extinct as they're killed by the day!
Youd shrug your shoulder because that's all you can say!

Hearts Prayer Of The Entertainer
I see you little squirrel as you sit on the stump, minding your own business
sitting there in peace! See me as I sit here with a mind that's not at ease!
The fans expect perfection, put a halo on my head, it really doesn't suit me,
I am human after all! I'm crowned with imperfections so my halo's in my hand.
I'm full of doubts and worries that you can't clearly see. Wrapped itself quite
tightly around my leg you'll see, its claws are dug in deeply so no escape for me!
Boots of wavering deep red color, wavering courage holding fears at bay.
Boot on its neck so it cannot raise its head, can't whisper the words I dread.
Red boot on it's wing to prevent it from taking flight.
this is where I'll keep it for as long as I might!
I see you little squirrel, your fur all sleek and bright, your ears are quite upright!
My wings are discolored and tatty and my feathers are falling out
I sit and I admire your bushy tail all full, the tip so clear and white.
Your energy is boundless, you're playful as you go, you live life to the fullest
You harvest and save with great of responsibility, you move with agility when
danger appears. Your bright little eyes misses nothing, that I can see!
How I wish I was you, I too want to flee when expectations wear me down and I feel tired
and beat. My head and my heart feels heavy and my soul and my spirit is so much in need.
See me sitting here on the top of my field, always expected never to yield, to feelings
of sadness, worries and needs. To bear the sound of loneliness, the absence of that which
I need.
The freedom to chose who I want to be and to be with. Without questioning eyes always
staring at me. To love and hold without criticism, Judgements or scorn.
All of these things I want for me.
I'm not a squirrel as you can see. I am just human, I am just me!

Wolf Lament
I How long how long
Before we can rest?
Not a moment of peace, not a moment of rest.
Eyes always seeking, bodies
weary and tense
For the baying of dogs, the snap of a trap,
the crack of the shot.
Our blood and our future seeping into the earth,
the cold of its arms stealing our warmth.
We are hunted for pelts, we are hunted for sports
by cold hearted men filled with laughter and mirth.
Beware beware, you destroyers of peace,
disruptors of rest!
Soon you too will come lie in the cold arms of death,
Where the hounds of hell will give you no rest.
We will watch from afar, we will watch from above.
Our hearts filled with peace, ever at rest!

Bongy the dancing Joey
"Oh dear, where is he gone of to now again" muttered granny Hoppalong! I'm sure he has hopped to that caravan park again! Granny quickly headed to the camp and waited and watched. What she saw made her smile!
Indeed, that was just where Bongy was, sitting watching children running and playing. He was waiting and watching patiently for something, not sure what! It was getting to midday and some kids went inside for a smack. Bong hopped a bit closer and further along the perimeter to see what was happening. Ah, his little heart lurched when he saw the two little girls in their pink dresses!
Bongy waited, sitting half hidden in the shrubs, every now and then he would nod of. Bongy heard the little girls as they charged out of the caravan and carrying something black that they put on to a little table. "Switch it on, switch it on". Bongy was up and almost bouncing, he was so excited. Then came the most beautiful sounds he ever heard in his life. The little girls started dancing in circles, laughing as they did. Bongy, well! Bongy's feet were tapping and he found himself copying the little girls! He ran on his little toes, he jumped every where and swirled around to the sound of the music. He found his tail was swinging around and struggle to control it proper but he didn't care. He closed his eyes as the last notes faded and gave one final little jump!
"Ooph" someone yells "Watch where you jump you little joey". Bongy took one look at the big muscular brown kangaroo and ran straight for his mum and jump into her pouch, safe and sound. He fell asleep very quickly dancing away in his head! The next morning both his mum and granny wanted to know where he went and like all joeys he just said "around and about"! Bongy had one mission in life now and that was to dance. Everyday for two weeks he waited at the caravan camp. Everyday he practiced and and memorized the music he heard. It was time for the holidaymaker to return to their homes. It was with a sad and heavy heart that Bongy saw them go! He was waiting for a miracle and that is what he got!
The gamekeeper had on numerous occasions seen the little joey hanging around the camp and was curious. To his utter surprise he saw the joey behaving strangely whenever he heard music, not any music but ballet music! He watched as the joey twisted, jumped and twirled, copying the little girls step by step! Once all the campers left he made a plan! He brought and set up a big TV screen very close to the fence and popped in a DVD of ballet dancers and music on it. He then set up a camera in order to capture this incredible unusual event. It would be great publicity for the camp and the surrounds. He was also a patient man! Bongy was beyond excited, first a bit wary but once the music started he had to move. He soon realized he must watch the dancers as well. Now however, his secret was a secret any more. Soon the word was spreading among the kangaroos and many thought. He had a secret ally! His grandmother! No one knew she loved music and dancing! Grandma made it her business to try and keep the others out of the way but the word did get out eventually. Bongy had become quite proficient!
The gamekeeper decided it was time to expose Bongy and his amazing dancing to the ballet world. He built and decorated a stage. He set up the cameras and cordoned the area off. He wanted nothing to disturb the little joey who has worked so hard. The keeper had introduced the little joey to stages and spotlight when he played the DVDs and noticed he was not opposed to the lights. In actual fact he seem to have enjoyed them. So on with the show!
Bongy has been hopping back and forth between home and the camp. He was restless, agitated but also excited! He recognized the thing the man was building! They call it a "stage"! someone was going to dance! WHO! WHO! WHO! He heard the music filtering through the bush and ran! There was no one there! Just the stage, the music and a hole cut in the fence. Oh My! How strange. Bongi waited for a while then crept through the hole and slowly made his way up the stay! The lights had come on and the music became louder. Without Bongy realizing it, his body and tail started moving and he closed his eyes for a second. Then the music swallowed him and he started dancing! Every bit of his body move gracefully and smoothly, he was poetry in motion. He glided, pirouetted and jumped.
There was absolute silence as he danced, none of the kangaroos that came, once the music became louder nor the gamekeeper made a sound. They watched him dance in amazement. A ballet dancing kangaroo! The music slowed and stopped and Bongy collapsed on the floor in a dazed state. Suddenly there was a great noise. A mix of loud Kangaroo squeaks and grunts. The gamekeeper was clapping and cheering. The surprise was Bongy however! A hush now fell down and they all gathered around Bongy to see if he was okay. He was laughing and hopping and crying with happiness. All the kangaroos agreed that he should dance from now on!
The Australian Ballet School in Melbourne soon took him in as an elite student. Soon Bongy became famous and he showed the world what you can became anything you wanted to if you loved what you do and if someone believed in you.

THE MAYFLY PRINCESSES AND THE GENIE
The little boy flung the lamp with force into the river. It landed with a splash! "So much for a magic lamp" he yelled! Inside the lamp the genie, who was in a very DEEP SLEEP, woke up when he fell off his magic floating carpet with a thump.
He had been asleep right through the boys' rubbing! Oh well, he wasn't in the mood to start working in any case! He rubbed his fat belly. It was grumbling noisily! He had been asleep for 300 years but his belly was still quite fat. All of a sudden he realized that his backside was wet. The lamp clearly had sprung a leak. He groaned, ah nooo, two magic jobs on an empty stomach! He quickly dried and repaired the leak. He barely managed to squeeze through the spout of the lamp to the outside to find some yummy food. The world had changed as had food.
Armed with a bag of chicken wings, chips, 6 hamburgers, 4 hot-dogs, 6 beers, two packets of jellybeans, 2 sweet and sour sweets and a huge chocolate cake he returned to his lamp where he ate and drank until he almost popped. After burping and belching and even farting a few shots, he curled up on his mat and went back to sleep. Just as well because little did he know what was waiting for him in the days to come!
Not too far from where the lamp lay, the water was swarming with rapidly growing tiny mayfly nymphs. The water around them was sparkling clean and oxygen rich. Just perfect for nymphs! They had plenty of algae and rotting leaves and other yummy plant stuff to eat. Among the nymphs were three unusual little nymphs. They hatched from a single egg and were very different indeed! Where the others were a dull brownish color they were rainbow colored and quite beautiful indeed! They were the first Mayfly princesses in over, hmmm, goodness know how many years! They were bigger, faster and were very curious about EVERYTHING around them.
One day Nari, Runa and Silk went swimming of by themselves again. Poking around in the underwater grass and twigs they heard a strange sound coming from an object laying half submerged in the mud. Thundery snorts with odd whistling sounds in between. Looking at each other with huge eyes, they swam closer to inspect the object. They started touching it, then walked and sat on it. They found a spout with hole big enough to creep through and was amazed at what they found. A strange and very fat creature on a floating leaf! They surrounded it and started poking it with sharp little claws.
"What, what! Ouch" the creature yelled and sat up so fast he fell of the floating leaf. He was surrounded by three giggling little rainbow colored mayflies! "Who are you" all four yelled at once at the same same, staring at each other! "We are the Mayfly princesses" Nari, Runa and Silk said in one voice. "Well, I am the great genie, Alakazam!" The three mayflies looked at each other and burst out laughing. Rune poked him in belly again "We can see you are great". It was true, his belly was moving by itself! Much to his annoyance he belched and farted again which made the Mayflies yell "yuck, stinky old genie". With that they left the lamp for fresh air! "Don't come back here, EVER! yelled Alakazam. What was he to do now he wondered. They woke him up so does he now owe them three wishes? He hopes they never find out about the wishes but alas they did!
Frodo, an old poorly sighted frog overheard the three little nymphs talking about the strange creature. "Croak, croak" I can tell you who it is! It is a genie that grants wishes! There is also something else you should know about Mayflies and that is that when they mature they only live for a few days. The little Mayflies were horrified at this news! Now you must grant me one of your wishes! "Croak croak"! So for the price of a pair of frog spectacles a deal was struck. The more was the worrying thing! When mayflies get their wings they only live for a few days! They were horrified on hearing that. They would have to think very carefully about what to wish for and finally, after two days they knew!
Meanwhile Genie Alakazam was a nervous wreck. When he had heard nothing by the third day he started relaxing. Aha or so he thought he could! Then he heard a banging on his lamp..ohhhh noooo! Then pop, pop, pop all three popped into his lamp! "We want our wishes" Silk said in a no nonsense tone. "No hello!" muttered Genie, how rude. Without answering him Nari said she wanted a magic pond where Mayflies can live until they are really old. Rune wanted the pond to be filled with beautiful water lilies and surrounded by other flowers so they would have lots of pollen and nectar to eat! With a loud "ABRACADABRA SHIZAM" their first two wishes were fulfilled. It was the third wish however that caused all the trouble!
Spectacles for a frog was a problem! "Argh, no no no" groaned Alakazam. "Was it a big frog, small frog, flat frog, fat frog, skinny frog"? Was it even a frog? What if it was a TOAD! With this Alakazam burst out into tears! "Whah whah". You see Alakazam didnt attend "spectacles for frog or toads" class! Frogs were, well frogs were cold, wet and, well slimy and besides, he was supposed to be a dessert genie! This meant the Mayflies would have to bring Frodo to Alakazam to measure Frodo so the spectacles would fit properly! No one knew how to make sure Frodo could see clearly through the spectacles. So the third wish actually turned into thirteen! He couldn't get out of it as the mayflies wouldn't let up! Alakazam nearly lost his mind but eventually it was done!
The next day however, when the mayflies went looking for Alakazam, both he and the lamp had disappeared!
Now one can only wonder, where did he go! Mmmm, maybe, just maybe he went somewhere where there were no Mayflies or ponds! Anybody, any other ideas? If you can find him what would your three wishes be?
